The University of the Philippines School of Economics provides instruction leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics. It is the only institution in the country with an internationally recognized Ph.D. programme in economics, has a high ratio of full-time faculty with Ph.D.s, and a distinguished record of publications in the discipline.
GRADUATE PROGRAMS
UPSE offers graduate studies leading to the degrees of Master of Arts (Economics), Doctor of Philosophy (Economics) and Master in Development Economics (MDE). These programs are designed to provide future economists in government, industry, non-governmental and international organizations with rigorous training in the methods and applications of economic analysis.
