UPSE alumnus Dr. Mahar Mangahas was awarded the University of Chicago Alumni Award for Public Service during the 70th Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony at the Univ. of Chicago campus last June 4, 2011. Dr. Mangahas, President of Social Weather Stations (SWS), accepted the award not just for himself but for SWS as a whole. More on this in his article written for PDI.
