Social Protection Forum

A forum on social protection entitled Shocks, Traps, and Nets: Pressing Needs and Present Seeds of Social Protection was organized by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED), and the UP School of Economics (UPSE) and was held at the Robinsons Crowne Plaza last April 15, 2013. The forum aimed to discuss the policy agenda, plan of action, research and capacity-building setting for social protection in the country. It also aims to mainstream social protection into the policy agenda for inclusive growth, thereby paving the way for a well-functioning and well-coordinated social protection program in the Philippines.
