The School, through the Department of Economics, provides instruction leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics (BS Econ), and the Bachelor of Science in Business Economics (BSBE).

The BS Econ curriculum allows seven  free electives in the junior and senior year – higher electives with course number 100 and above – which may be taken outside of the Department. They may also be Economics (Econ) electives: Econ 111/161/171/172/181/191/198’s, excluding Econ 100.1 and 100.2.

The BSBE curriculum, on the other hand, allows three free electives in the junior and senior year – higher electives with course number 100 and above – which may be taken outside of the Department. They may also be Economics (Econ) electives: Econ 111/161/171/172/181/191/198’s, excluding Econ 100.1 and 100.2.
