The UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES ECONOMICS SOCIETY (UP ECOSOC) is a non-stock, non-profit organization, whose existence is hinged on its core belief - Service, Exellence and Tradition. Exemplifying its continued commitment to this thrust, UP Ecosoc engages itself on numerous socio-civic activities, most notable of there is the scholarship that it provides for the deserving high school students through the UP Ecosoc Scholarship Fund (UP ESSF).

Impelled by the hype of last semester’s celebration, UP ECOSOC has been able to exceed itself, exploring new frontiers that have added to its remarkable distinction as an organization driven by the desire to bring societal change and advancement.
As we move forward into another year of service, excellence and tradition, together, we continue the golden streak by refocusing our undertakings in community development and proving that we are rooted in the socio-civic cause that was envisioned by our founding members in 1958. This semester’s theme calls upon the members to reexamine their involvement in the numerous endeavors that have been embarked by this organization and to realign their goals and ideals with the society’s true nature. A cause doesn’t only bring about action. It is defined by it. Let us assert that we are Truly ECOSOC: Living the Cause since 1958. |
