The General Book Collection (second floor)

The General book collection is mainly concerned with the subject area “Social Science” with specific emphasis on economics. The open-shelf collection is located on the second floor (north side). Lending and receiving of materials are done at the Circulation Desk.

The General Reference Collection (second floor)

General reference books which include atlases, dictionaries, directories, encyclopedias, gazetteers, handbooks, indexes, etc. are located at the first four rows of bookstacks. The collection is to be used in the reading room only.

The Reserve Book Collection (second floor)

The collection consists of textbooks and supplementary reading materials recommended by the faculty as required readings for the economics courses. The books are on closed shelves and may be borrowed for a two-hour use within the second floor reading area. With proper reservation they are allowed for overnight use.

Filipiniana Collection (third floor)

The Filipiniana section has an updated collection of special studies and reports from both the government and private sectors. Among the notable documents in the collection are government documents such as: national and regional development plans, socioeconomic profiles of the various regions of the country, feasibility and industry studies, annual reports, budget reports, censuses, and statistical yearbooks; published works; special studies and reports on the Philippines by international and intergovernmental organizations and research agencies; research studies by the private sectors; theses and dissertations; and publications of colleges and universities.

The Serial Collection  (third floor)

The Library subscribes to a number of technical journals and economics periodicals, both foreign and local. At present, the library has a total of 573 serial titles in 7,544 bound volumes.

The Non-Print Collection  (third floor)

Consists of 768 CDs which are mostly statistical references, 39 video recordings, 717 reels of microfilm of development plans of Southeast Asian countries, 241 microfiches of back issues of technical journals, 103 slides and 36 maps of different countries.
